Through its Tena brand, SCA has introduced an adult pants style diaper that is 20% thinner and more comfortable to wear. Additionally, new Tena Pants Normal has an improved environmental profile including reduced carbon dioxide emissions during production and transportation and more efficient storage.

“We are excited to provide our consumers and customers an improved product that delivers according to their needs,” says Mansoor Parvaiz, SCA’s vice president of the incontinence care category.

“We have redesigned the product so it is more comfortable to wear, but still provides the same level of protection that the user has come to trust,” says Stamatios Mantzaris, global brand innovation manager at SCA.

Tested by both men and women with  good results, the product launched in Poland and Hungary this month and will be rolled out to the rest of the world during the first half of 2015.
